CHROMAGENIC

On my birthday this year, I celebrated a friend's birthday by going on a cruise with his friends and family. It was one of those short 4 day cruises from Seattle up to Victoria and Nanaimo. We had a great time and the weather was surprisingly good. On the way out from Seattle, the sun was just setting. And as I looked out to west, I could see the sun setting over Bainbridge Island where my parents live.

Over the last few days I have been bringing all of my old photos together to a single managed location. It's a job that's going to take ages to do, but I figure it needs to start sometime, so might as well be now. One of the groups of photos was from an international team meeting in 2006. This was on the walk from our game of laser tag to dinner. It was a 20 minute walk through an interesting part of Utrecht, which was the closest big town to our office at the time. The sun was setting and I managed to capture a few shots out of my Canon IXUS 50. Later in the evening we had dinner and I took a few shots of the table. Its amazing to see how different the table would look today. Over the last few years, our company has gone through lots of changes. And another day is done, but I am still here.
