Comment I always love photos like this, and you can see it when you look at my Lightroom catalog or in my files of slides and negatives. Several ridges of hills and mountains, disappearing into denser layers of fog. I guess others like this style of image because I seem to remember one of the default Windows backgrounds is something similar. This image was taken along one of my favorite drives, up on 35 near the Portola Redwoods. This drive straddles the ridge that separates the Pacific Ocean from Silicon Valley. I have no idea when I took this but it must have been while I was living in Sunnyvale, which means around 1996 to 1998.
This scan was made in 2003 and I have no idea what I might have done to the image. My PS skills are weak today but they were worse then, so I am assuming I didn't do much.
