4 Comments Around any stupa in Nepal (and everywhere else around the world) you will find these prayer wheels. They line up so that you can walk around, spinning the wheels as you pass your message forward. I have hundreds of photos of these things. Its easy to take a picture, but to create a great image of them is a bit more difficult. Something out of the norm. This isn't it yet, but as I said, I have hundreds more on my machine (plus many only on slides) and will find one I love eventually.

This isn't it yet? Certainly looks like a stunning image to me. I've never seen such a thing -- thanks for sharing such an interesting detail.
You should give yourself more credit. This is a really lovely image and angle.
I have a number of photos like this of the prayer wheels in Bhutan. When you consider the significance of these to the Buddhist religion, it makes them that more beautiful.
I love it! And I've taken nearly that exact shot, but I really like how you represent the colors. Nice work!
Thanks. I would have loved to been up there for the sunrise like you had done, but I had a very hard time with waking up... I would like to go back again soon, and rent an apartment for a month in Kathmandu to be able to get a better feel for the place.
